The Scarecrow is up to his old tricks as his current threat leave the city Gotham evacuated and empty, except for the legion of criminals that have taken over the streets. As the Dark Knight, you have to take back the city by defeating petty thugs and their bosses. Sounds simple right? It would be if it wasn’t for the Arkham Knight, a new villain that has his sights firmly set on destroying the Caped Crusader once and for all. And with drones, weapons and tanks to back him up, it might just be possible. Rocksteady has continued to capture the edgy essence of the Dark Knight by making him seem invincible, yet vulnerable at the same time. You will have to use your wits, and gadgets, to make it through this gritty finale episode.
A dramatic opening scene sets the tone for the conclusion of Rocksteady’s trilogy as you once again suit up as Batman and take on the underworld of Gotham. The visuals in this game are the best they have ever been and, once again, the game is filled with all the familiar friends and foes that can be found throughout the Batman comic storylines. Travel through the city by the use of your grappling hook to help you glide through the Gotham skies. Team up with other heroes and help to once again to save the day in this must have game. This is certainly a fitting end to the Arkham trilogy.
