War Thunder is a combat, video, and multiplayer game developed by Gaijin Entertainment. Its format is cross-platform available on MacOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Shield Android TV.
This game is all about combined arms battles on land, in the air, or at sea. The vehicles included in the very gameplay range from pre-World War I unique naval vessels to the Iraq war.
Players from Germany, the United States, Britain, Japan, and Russia can control ground and aircraft vehicles in War Thunder. Nations with smaller militaries such as France, Italy, Sweden, and China can also do this.
All vehicles are divided into three categories which include: Ground, Fleet, and Aviation. Game modes are also divided into three categories, and those include SImulator, Realistic, and Arcade. It is, as mentioned above, primarily a multiplayer game.
However, a single-player mode is available as well, and it focuses solely on historical battles, and a mode made exclusively for battling AI vehicles and aircraft. Events in War Thunder include numerous custom missions.
These missions are usually based on one of the three key modes of the game. An excellent example of this would be the Battle of Britain, which is a recreation of specific historical battles.
