The assassin team of siblings Jacob and Evie Frye will take you through nineteenth century London. As you travel, you will have the guide the duo in various missions; Jacob wants to take over London, while Evie wants to continue to focus on the guild’s quest to find the Apple of Eden. You will have to stealth, skill and instinct to survive Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. In an effort to make amends for Assassin’s Creed Unity, Ubisoft has set the stage for this next instalment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise in London. The game maker has pulled the best elements of the series and mixed it with new features in AC Syndicate. You will have to guide two characters in the game, a first for the franchise, as they journey through the story.
The addition of two characters gives the game a different feel as you complete missions for each, based on using different skills. Jacob is determined to start a gang to takeover London and to develop their combat skills as they go. However, Evie wants to help the Assassins guild fulfil their quest to locate the Apple of Eden. Missions you complete as Evie will require more stealth. Secondary missions are peppered though the game in addition to the missions that are related to the main plot of the story.
As you complete the secondary missions, you will meet key figures from nineteenth century London, such as Charles Dickens and Queen Victoria. Those that are familiar with the Assassin’s Creed games will find few surprises as you will basically be doing the same things you have been doing in all of the other titles. However, the thrill and fun of assassinations and combat will provide plenty of entertainment, so AC Syndicate is worth trying out.
Sibling assassins explore London in the nineteenth century.
